Healing Yourself Holistically

I think my number one resolution or goal I have for 2020 is to live a holistic lifestyle as much as possible. It’s one of the main reasons why I joined Arbonne. I wanted to live a balanced lifestyle to take the approach of healing my body’s imbalances. It’s working and I want to share what you can do to heal some of the pain points you may have.

Holistic health is the perspective that our health and wellness are a function of all aspects that we are – and how we interact with our environment. It is also about empowerment. Holistic health means we take responsibility for our own well-being. As such, it is the sum of all of your choices you make and actions you take every day. Because I don’t really care if you like it or not, our health and wellness are a function of ALL aspects that we are.

Here is what I am currently practicing:

I am doing the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living Challenge which focuses on eating clean foods that do your body well and in-taking plant-based supplements that give you the vitamins and minerals you need to be healthy and function at your most optimal level. I’ve done this before and can attest that with my previous experience it works to clear brain fog, headaches, bloating, and anxiety. So I am fueling my body with the right food. I am engaging my mind daily at work and working my business after hours. I am making sure to rest my mind as well. I am challenging my body by taking up a workout routine and adding in yoga. I am continuing to build my faith and open up my heart. I am seeing a therapist and working to better my mental health and grow stronger as a person. If you need any podcast recommendations I highly encourage Rachel Hollis and Jenna Kutcher for your much needed life motivation! I read a lot of self help books on top of all of this.

Mind. Body. Spirit. You can use holistic health to “cure” an illness and/or injury. I wouldn’t say it cures mental illness without medication, in my experience, but it does most definitely help. If you take your mind and body seriously, track what is happening and how you are living your every day life, make good choices, and stick to them, then you will feel so good. I encourage you to try it! Everyone has their own style of healing and what you do is up to you! These work for me so I will be continuing to live the most holistic life I possibly can!
